Yoga Nidra is an ancient sleep-based form of meditation designed to help one disengage from the thinking mind by entering the space between waking and sleeping. It combines the benefits of meditation and intention through a series of body, breath and awareness techniques. This is a calming and stress relieving class that will begin with a short practice of devotional chanting with the harmonium, moving into gentle asana and concluding with a 30-40 minute Yoga Nidra session.
Yoga Nidra and Devotional Chanting is only offered at our South location. We offer all of our Yoga Nidra classes free for cancer patients undergoing treatment. Check out our schedule for the most up to date information.
