What is iRest? Based on the ancient teachings of meditation, iRest (Integrative Restoration) is an evidence-based transformative Yoga Nidra practice that leads to psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. Based on 40 years of research by Dr. Richard Miller, daily practice of iRest’s ten-tool protocol helps reduce PTSD, insomnia, depression, anxiety and chronic pain. Each class in this iRest meditation series will focus on one or more of the fundamental iRest tools, ending with a 30+ minute iRest healing guided meditation. You learn to create a strong and safe foundation with the first 5 tools, to then slowly & safely explore various feelings, emotions, thoughts & beliefs as you choose. Regular practice helps you respond from a healthy place within, rather than react using past patterns. The daily practice of iRest forges new brain neuro-connections, new brain patterns to help you experience a greater sense of wholeness, health, resiliency and well-being.
