DESCRIPTION:Feeling overwhelmed by election news? Plan your self-care on election night by signing up for an evening of yoga nidra accompanied by live music. The evening will be led by one of Eugene’s longtime beloved musicians\, Laura Kemp. Using a series of body\, breath\, and awareness techniques\, as well as music\, visualizations\, and intention setting\, this gentle guided meditation takes you to the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping\, assisting you in quieting the mind\, unwinding the nervous system\, and experiencing profound restoration. Laura’s yoga nidra classes are unique in that they are infused with vocal\, harmonium\, and guitar music. Note\, this is primarily a meditation class that includes very little movement. Bring your mat\, props\, and layers to stay warm and comfortable as you will be lying down for most of the class!
