This iRest Series is held on Thursdays, from Jan 22nd to March 19th, from 12:30pm-2:00pm. iRest® guided meditation is a 10-step protocol of Yoga Nidra researched and designed by Richard Miller, PhD proven to reduce anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, & symptoms of PTSD & Long Covid. Unlike traditional Yoga Nidra, iRest® takes you on a deeper dive into self-inquiry, rewiring your brain’s neural connections to help you (re)discover that place of ever-present stillness within—your TRUE home that remains untouched by life’s events and storms. Regular iRest® practice helps you shift from unhelpful reactive patterns to kinder gentler responses from your inner wisdom and wholeness. Each class in this iRest® series will focus on one or more of the fundamental iRest tools, ending with a 30+ minute iRest® guided meditation. You learn to create a strong and safe foundation with the first 5 tools, then slowly & safely explore various feelings, emotions, thoughts & beliefs as you choose; each week builds on the prior.
