Cultivating Calm and Resilience: Yoga in the Face of Stress w/ Cynthia Gayman

This workshop is designed for those who want to develop ways of increasing the amount of equanimity in their lives. Equanimity describes the inner calm and centeredness that anchors us despite whatever life happens to throw at us. The workshop will be comprised of four parts: a guided self-awareness exercise, an asana (mat and/or chair) practice, pranayama (breath work) and a guided mantra meditation. Upon leaving you will feel equipped with new tools to expand your equanimity. Additionally, there will be a take-home guide that will expand upon some of the practices that we will engage in during the workshop.
