Yoga for Osteoporosis and Bone Health

Osteoporosis and Osteopenia can be managed and improved with yoga. In this workshop you will learn yoga postures, that when practiced regularly, will strengthen both the density and structure of your bones. When performed together, weight-bearing exercises, balance activity and gentle impact can gradually begin to fortify your bones. This can make them less susceptible to breaks and fractures. You will also greatly reduce your risk and perhaps have less fear of falling. This class is open to anyone who is concerned about their bone health, either currently or for the future.
