Kids Yoga at Eugene Yoga: Mindful Movement for Growing Minds

As the school year begins, kids are adjusting to new routines, social dynamics, and growing responsibilities. At Eugene Yoga, we believe that even the youngest members of our community deserve tools to navigate these changes with confidence, creativity, and calm.

That’s why we’re excited to launch our Kids Yoga series starting this September, a weekly offering designed to support children’s physical health, emotional regulation, and inner confidence through fun, engaging yoga practices.

Why Kids Yoga?

Kids Yoga is more than stretching, it’s a playful introduction to mindfulness, movement, and self-awareness. Through games, breathing techniques, balance challenges, and storytelling, children learn how to connect with their bodies and calm their minds.

The benefits of yoga for kids include:

  • Improved focus and concentration
  • Emotional resilience and stress relief
  • Greater body awareness and coordination
  • Boosted self-esteem and social skills
  • Tools for mindfulness and self-regulation

By introducing yoga at a young age, children begin building lifelong wellness habits in a joyful and pressure-free environment.
